So, what have I acheived while I've been up North?
Not much :-) Other than the nice feeling inside that I don't need to go into uni, or go into the pub to do a shift....
Been to Toph's new house to try and fix his laptop and Internet... managed to sort out the Internet... sorted out one problem on the laptop - namely fixed the broken Microsoft ANI cursor patch...
Also played on his PS3... very nice... although I prefer a mouse and a keyboard when playing first person shooters... none of the 2 joystick wank.
Went to the pub on Thursday with Toph and JJ... someone from my old primary school started talking to us in a drunken fashion about a whole range of things... including how she's now got a six year old kid which is her greatest achievement so far in life. I suppose this is an achievement of sorts, but from my limited remeberance of sex education from school children are quite easy to make, so easy you can even make them by accident :-) Unless you've had you're ovaries removed and your ex- partner refuses to let you use the ebmryos you both created to make a child... but that's another blog post entirely...
On Friday I went to the pub with Toph, JJ and Caroline (JJ's greatest achievement). Finding Caroline's house to pick them both up was mighty humourous... what with the instructions being slightly crap ;-) We got there though... helped with my almost extensive knowledge of Norton Tower - having driven around their a fair bit when learning to drive!
Lucy and Dave joined us later - which was unexpected seeing as I was told I wouldn't seem them as they were on a quick trip from Dublin to see Lucy's family. It was cool to see them again! Later on still Kate and Alison turned up... Alison being a little bit 'tipsy' :-)
We all went back to Kate's house for more drink... more drink which didn't actually get drunk (or even poured) but the thought was there.
Saturday... nowt much happened of note - coded up a thing that was meant to help me make money on Betfair... heh...
Sunday.... placed a bet on Betfair being confident that my system was sound... lost a tenner. Bollocks. I'm amazed about how the way I bet can actually affect the results of matches - it's great! If Arsenal don't get in the Champions League due to their no score draw with Newcastle... that'll be my fault... whoops.
People came around for an Easter Sunday meal... was nice. Charlie and I were a little annoyed that Boya took a bit of turkey with a massive bit of skin on it... only to peel the skin off and leave it on the plate - how rude?!
Monday was pub quiz day.... hmmm... well there were only 3 of us... but I don't think we did that badly... we came fifth - can't remember how many teams there were - but I'm hoping it wasn't 6!
And here we are... today I've done not much... apparantly I'm meant to be going to one of Dad's friend's house to stop his computer disconnecting from the Internet repeatedly... hmmm... fun...
