Well you thought that they'd alreadly thought of everything! This is for people who are too lazy to rewind their DVDs before taking them back to the shop!
Of course on first view it appears to have as much use as directional audio cables, but apparantly it'll clean the DVDs for you... on the other hand you shouldn't clean DVDs in rotatary fashion, so maybe it isn't much use!
