You'll remember that I got some postcards from someone who doesn't want to be named (or two people who don't want to be named)
Well, I sent a few emails back and forth...
One of her cryptic responses went along the lines of 'does it sound like something I'd do?'
So, I asked her one friend who hasn't blocked me! Name changed to protect the innocent... I should really change all the words she said too because it's so damn obvious who it is, but hey :-D
Ed: hello
Sue: hey
Ed: do you still talk to jo?
Sue: not really, why?
Ed: just wondering if you know if she's been to NY recently
Sue: oh yeah she did
Ed: recently?
Sue: yeah like... last weekend?
Sue: for a friend's birthday
Ed: fair enough
Sue: were you there?
Ed: explains the two random postcards
Ed: two postcards
Ed: no text
Ed: just postcards
Ed: no idea who they're from although it looks like handwriting
Ed: well on one of them anyways
Sue: hmm
Ed: wasn't sure though
Sue: that sounds like something she'd do
Well I've just got word from Jo that it's not her, apparantly. She'd consider sending a postcard with no name on shady and cowardly. She's still just as cryptic as ever which is why we fell out in the first place. So at least I know that I'm not missing out on anything with her still 'no having forgiven me for what I was like'. Jobs a good 'un.
Still, it does still leave the question of who would like to mess around with my head by sending me postcards without any names on, from New York! It's certainly keeping me entertained.
