Well you've all seen the coffee poll. Knowing that there would be a less clear cut vote on this option I took the liberty of emailing Kenco Coffee to ask them the best way have instant coffee. Wasn't sure if I would get a response, but it was worth the try, no?
Hi!Just seen on the side of my Kenco Really Rich jar that I can email you for free coffee advice. What is the best way to make Kenco Instant Coffee (including sugar and milk)?
Thank you for your time,
Ed
A few days later (today) I got a reply!
Hi edThank you for your email. It is best to let the water rest for a minute after it has come to the boil as this stops the coffee having any bitter elements to it's flavour. We also recommend that you do not reboil water once it has been boiled once as this de-oxygenates the water and can affect he flavour. We would recommend that you use approx a tea spoon full of coffee but obviously adjust this to taste, and add milk and sugar to taste after you have added the water. I hope this helps.
Kind regards

So all of my poll options were wrong... as you should add the sugar with the water... at least the majority appear to be doing it right (at the time of posting).
